Every kitchen is stocked with coffee from Chiapas. Pour a cup, take it out to the terrace, and watch El Cerro come to life below you: doors opening along the alley, the first boats out on the bay, the town filling in as the light comes up.
Mark here: from December through March, keep an eye on the water. The humpbacks put on a show.
The view from Miguel's Mirador balconyOur cobblestone alley has been home to the same families for generations. Walk five minutes downhill and you are on the Malecón. Five of the city's most highly rated restaurants are closer than that, and Camarones Beach is nine minutes on foot.

Our street
The saltwater poolMost guests come back to the pool in the afternoon, after a morning out in the town. It is saltwater, it looks out over the bay, it is open whenever you are, and it is heated to 29 to 30°C all winter. A refreshing dip, then a chair in the shade until the light turns gold.

We are active hosts, and we are always available onsite. Mark owns the villa and runs it; John is his best friend and co-host. We moved to Puerto Vallarta together and each live in our own private apartment on the property, so a local tip, a hand arranging something, or just knowing someone is here is a message away. Your own front door stays yours.
